Thanks for stopping in. Let me tell you a little bit about myself and the reasons behind this blog.

My name is Nareka, I’m 23 years old, and live on the beautiful Vancouver Island just off the coast of British Columbia. I am passionate about home and design and wanted to create a platform that showcased my love for interior design. Ultimately, I wanted to create one place where people could find cute, easy, and aesthetically pleasing DIY projects for their home at an affordable price.

So why a blog? My best friend who passed away early this year always encouraged and enjoyed my crafting and design skills. She admired my home and would help me to create a place where I loved being. I figured it was time to take this passion and do something with it, and creating a blog was the perfect way for me to honour the friendship I have with her.

Finally, I want it to be known that I love standing for creativity. I think it is so important to make your home your own, and I want to help you do it. I hope that this site inspires you and encourages you to create a home you love being in.
